The National Association of French Millers (ANMF) met with millers in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and South-West regions as part of its programme of regional delegation visits.
Last week, as part of its series of regional delegation visits, the French National Millers’ Association (ANMF) met with millers in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and South-West regions. The association had previously held similar meetings in the Alsace and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté regions.
The meeting in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region was hosted by Minoterie Dupuy Couturier. Founded in 1892 and boasting six generations of experience, the company welcomed ANMF members to its mill. Following a discussion addressing the sector’s current developments and the challenges it faces, participants were given a tour of the mill.
The sector’s agenda was discussed in the South-West
ANMF President Jean-François Loiseau also attended the meeting held in the South-West region. The gathering provided an opportunity to assess the economic, technical and regulatory challenges facing the flour industry. Participants also shared the issues they encounter in their day-to-day operations and their experiences.
The ANMF emphasised that regional meetings are important for bringing together diverse perspectives from the field and for supporting the French flour industry through joint efforts.
