Silos Spain has announced the expansion of its operations in Latin America with the construction of a new soybean storage facility in Costa Rica. The project marks another step in the company’s international growth strategy and reflects its commitment to supporting the region’s agroindustrial development.
The newly installed 05.35/09 model silo is designed specifically for areas with high seismic activity. It incorporates advanced seismic reinforcement features to ensure maximum stability and safety, aligning with the highest engineering standards.
Constructed from steel coated with ProMag — an advanced alloy that provides up to ten times greater corrosion resistance than conventional galvanized steel — the silo offers enhanced durability and reliable long-term performance. This ensures protection against challenging environmental conditions common in tropical and coastal regions.
